Scheduling Coordinator: Julie Barrett

Julie

I am the cheerful voice you will hear on our phone. I will be sure to find a convenient time for you to schedule your appointment, while paying special attention to be sure your child is missing as little as possible from his/her important school day. I work hard to make sure that your general dentists are informed of any changes in treatment by creating letters and sending x-rays that may be necessary. I am happy to keep track of your child’s recall program to make sure that the timing is perfect for treatment to get started! My favorite part of my job is creating the fun, on-going office contests!

Prior to my position with Dr. Mattiacio’s office, I taught preschool in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, where my husband, Trevor, had been stationed with the United States Marine Corps. I loved living right on the ocean, but am ready to give snowboarding a try this winter! In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking, playing pool, racquetball, watching any sport and most of all, spending time with my chocolate lab Kobe.

Treatment Coordinator: Donna Johnson

Donna

I am a Registered Dental Assistant with 25 years experience in general dentistry, oral surgery and orthodontics. Your initial consultation will be scheduled with Dr. Mattiacio and myself. At this visit I will take any necessary x-rays so Dr. Mattiacio can get the full picture of any orthodontic or orthopaedic needs. I will help Dr. Mattiacio with your exam and any questions you may have after he presents any treatment recommendations. I will be happy to show you the appliances that are recommended and explain how they work, and how to take care of them. I will schedule an appointment for you to come back and see me to get all your initial records taken at a convenient time for your schedule. Don’t hesitate to call me at anytime if you have any questions regarding treatment.

I am happily married to my husband, Ed, for 25 years, and live in Bloomfield. We were blessed with two daughters. Ashley is a 19 year old sophomore at Geneseo with dreams to someday become a history teacher. Lindsay is 17 years old and is a senior at Bloomfield High School. She stays busy with Bloomfield’s varsity basketball, soccer and track programs. In my free time I enjoy bike riding, long walks, kayaking, hiking in the mountains and relaxing with some quality family time.

Financial Coordinator: Liz Meade

I am one of the smiling faces that will greet you as you arrive. I am here to answer any financial questions you may have regarding treatment. I am happy to tell you that we are very flexible with payments and will finance your treatment interest free with a payment plan that is convenient for you. It is important to me that your financial arrangements are working for you, so please let me know if any changes or concerns with your financial situation arise while in treatment. I work closely with all insurance companies, making sure your orthodontic benefits are maximized, and will be happy to provide any receipt information required by your flexible spending plan.

I am thrilled to have recently joined the Mattiacio Orthodontics team with 13 years previous orthodontic experience in the Buffalo, New York area. Since my husband is a minister, we have moved frequently and even lived in Nottingham, England for four years, where two of our three children were born. I love music and working in the gardens of our Pittsford home, as well as canoeing, hiking and walking our noisy Sheltie, Chloe. Oh, yes, ask me about my grandchildren, too!

Professional Relations Coordinator: Jen Mahan

Jen

I am the Professional Relations Coordinator for Mattiacio Orthodontics.  In addition to being one of the several smiling faces you will see when you visit us, I am responsible for the various marketing activities in the office.  I help create the many contests and drawings for our patients, as well as organize any events we host.  I also reach out to the wonderful general dentists in the area, to be sure that they are included in the fun activities we have for them.

I am very excited to be joining this fun team of professionals!  I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York and met my husband, Garry, at Cornell University, where I received a Bachelors of Science degree.  We moved to the Rochester area in 1994 and bought a home in Victor three years ago.  Garry and I have been married for 18 years and have four incredible children – Josh, Chris and Elizabeth attend Victor High School and Collin is in 7th grade at Victor Junior High.  Garry and I spend most of our free time shuttling our kids around and cheering for them at their many games and events!

Clinical Assistant: Amy Moore

Amy

I am one of the clinical assistants working for Dr. Mattiacio. I attended Monroe Community College where I obtained my dental assisting certification/license in 2006. I have been a dental assistant for seven years and I just love the field of orthodontics. Our team enjoys creating a fun and family-oriented office. The best part of my job is helping to create beautiful smiles and getting to know all of our patients and their families.

Originally from Tampa, Florida, I moved to New York with my family in October 2000. I have a 3-year-old daughter named Kendal. She is the love of my life and makes me smile everyday. I spend all of my free time with her. She is a very active little girl and keeps me on my toes.

Clinical Coordinator: Tiffany Benedetto

Tiffany

I have worked in the dental field for 13 years, 11 of them here with this office. As a graduated orthodontic patient myself, I know how important a healthy, beautiful smile is. My goals as Clinical Coordinator are to make sure everyone is comfortable and satisfied with the treatment they are receiving in our office. Parents and caregivers are welcome back with the patients to ask any questions or to just observe progress. I also participate in the marketing aspect of our practice such as delivering treats to dentists and friends in the area. It is such a rewarding experience to see all the gorgeous finished results that pass through our office. Building relationships and close friendships with patients and parents throughout the years is fulfilling

I reside in Canandaigua with my daughter. I don’t have any pets, but maybe someday. I know my daughter would love to have a snake!
